Seaport Storage has many sizes of air conditioned storage units. There is a feature on our website to help you find the best size for your needs, and our knowledgeable staff will be more than happy to assist you with any questions you may have.

Q: Will I get an invoice in the mail?
Seaport Storage does send an invoice by email free of charge. If you request a mailed invoice there is $2.00 charge for this service. Customers can pay online, over the phone from 8 am-10 pm everyday of the week or in person for no additional charge.
Q: Climate vs. Non-Climate Controlled Units?
Here are some things to think about when considering climate controlled storage vs. traditional non-climate controlled storage:
• Climate-controlled storage keeps your belongings in a defined temperature range, whereas non-climate storage is subject to changing temperatures.
• Non-climate-controlled storage protects your belongings from the effects of high humidity. Non-climate-controlled storage is sometimes subject to damp conditions.
• By use of an interior hallway, climate-controlled units have less dust accumulation than non-climate-controlled storage and are insulated from the outside. Fewer pests are found in air conditioned units or buildings.
• Climate-controlled storage keeps your belongings in a defined temperature range, whereas non-climate storage is subject to changing temperatures.

We have FREE maps of Hillsborough County to help you get acclimated to the area.
Q: What does the admin. fee cover?
It covers the processing of your paperwork, pest control and we add rodent bait just as a precaution. It also includes a "free" lock (a $10 value in itself).
Q: Can a Semi deliver my furniture into your storage units?
Yes you can. We have a loading dock to load and unload your goods.
Q: Do you sell supplies to help me move?
We sell boxes and moving supplies for a one-stop shop to move into our storage facilites. You can conveniently rent your storage unit and purchase boxes and moving supplies in one place – no need to waste time running all over town looking for moving supplies. Our prices are very competitive.
Q: Does Seaport Storage provide a lock for the storage space? Does anyone else have a key?
We provide a high security lock at the time of move in and it is included with your admin fee. No one else has a key to the lock. Only the customer is given 2 or 3 keys with their lock. Seaport does not keep a key, unless the customer signs a key release form to keep a key on hand for numerous reasons.
Q: How do I pay my monthly bill?
At Seaport Storage we give you several options to make your monthly payment. We can automatically charge your Mastercard®, Visa® or Discover® card each month orn debit your checking account automatically at some locations. This is our "no late fee guarantee." By signing up for "auto bill," you can pay online at www.channelsidestorage.com. You can pay over the phone with a credit card from 8 am – 10 pm, mail your payment or pay in person at no additional charge.
Q: Am I renting the space month to month or am I on a long term lease?
Your contract is a month-to-month agreement with Seaport Storage. You can move out whenever you want. However, Seaport Storage does offer an incentive for paying long term.
